Palacio, Palacio & Zimmerman LLC — TAX & ADVISORS

New business

Open the company. Then open it correctly.

A website can file the paperwork for ninety-nine dollars. What costs you money later is opening the wrong kind of company.

Tell us what you are starting. We will tell you what to open, and why.

Tell us what you are starting

Six questions. Sending it does not sign you up for anything.

Optional. It is the fastest way to get an answer.

Where the company will be opened — not necessarily where you live.

A few words is plenty. “Food truck”. “Freight brokerage”. “I rent out two condos”.

A partner in another country, a deadline, a company you already have. Or leave it empty.

Do not put a social security number, an EIN or a date of birth in this form. We do not need them yet, and a web form is not where they belong.

This goes to the firm as an email. Nothing is filed and no account is created.

What happens next

  1. We call you

We ask how you plan to pay yourself and who else owns part of it. That is what decides the answer.

  2. We open it

The filing with the state, the operating agreement, and the federal EIN — all three together.

  3. We file the elections on time

An S election has a deadline that starts the day the company exists. If it is right for you, we file it. If it is not, we say so.

Your registered agent

It depends which state you pick.

We can be your agent. This office goes on the public record instead of your home address, and your mail reaches somebody who knows what it is.

Any other state

We file through a provider, so the agent is theirs. We still do the rest: which company to open, the EIN, the tax elections, and the first year of returns.

Rather just talk it through?

Call and a person picks up. Send a note and a person reads it. Either way it reaches somebody at the firm, not a queue.
